Is Croatia a safe place for a tourist? And Slovania?
I am looking at taking a trip there and someone told me that there might be some safety issues.
Greetings, first of all, as someone above pointed out that slovenia has nice beaches – well, slovenia doesnt have beaches as it is landlocked.
I am from croatia, but have grown up in New Zealand.. I’ve been to both Croatia and Slovenia as a tourist and they are such beautiful countries.. and as safe as the rest of europe – those countries are now becoming real popular tourist destinations, so they have increased their security. The people are friendly and most speak english or german, so you shouldnt have any problems. Where you go depends on the time of the year – if you are wanting to go during winter, Slovenia (especially Bled) are fantastic. If you are going in summer, skip Slovenia and head to the Adriatic coast, especially Split or Dubrovnik – absolutely stunning!
And as for the chicks, I am a croatian girl, and I’ll tell you this for nothing – they are hot!
