How much to budget for Euro trip 2010?
My friend and I are planning to travel to Europe in 2010 for approximately 4 months old. We visit the countries I've listed below in any order that is cheaper to travel. We would spend at least 2 weeks in each of the following: France, Italy, Turkey, Eastern Europe – still not sure where exactly! Plus the following (approximate): UK + Ireland: 10 days Netherlands: Belgium 4 days: 4 days Germany: 10 days in Austria: 5 days in Switzerland: 3 days Spain: Greece 7 days: 7 days Croatia: 4 days We are young, but not the kind of typical backpack. None of us drink / smoke / sleep around / drugs to make the European nightlife is crazy not important! We are looking for clean, comfortable accommodation 3.5 to 4 stars twins. We love our food and are willing to spend for the good things occasionally. This is a holiday for food and culture: D We have started saving for the trip, but I really have no idea how much it should work toward! Any advice is greatly appreciated! : D
Mind Change € / USD in this period is very, very favorable … anyway country like Britain is more expensive than other European countries … In Europe a normal hotel (3 stars) can consider about € 35 – € 50 / night, breakfast only, but I suggest a bed and breakfast, is cheaper and more comfortable, if you're looking for 4-star hotel has € 60 / € 80 / night. Overall, I think you can spend about USD 7 / 8000, including hotel / ticket to visit the museum and everything others. Do not forget to visit Normandy and Bretagne in northern France and especially make sure you try all you can eat Italian food! Just one last thing … in my review 18 days Beetwen Germany, Austria and Switzerland are too! Good travel!
