What is the name of the book?
During the Second World War, a British plane was shot down in Croatia. Some local villagers carried fallen airmen to safety. A son of one of the British survivors wrote a book about this event.
I tried Google, but found a large amount of information that is difficult to identify. "The Forgotten 500" looks like a British plane shot down, but the author, as far as I can tell ths is not the son of a survivor. Many, many books have been written about the downed planes in the Second World War.
