Where are the best places to go on a cruise in Europe?

My family and I are planning a European cruise for next summer. Im in my early 20's, so keep in mind. I want to be able to party and have a good time and enjoy as many cities as possible. Then are my two choices. 1-Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy, Naples, Italy; Marmaris, Turkey, Izmir, Istanbul, Athens, Katakolon, Livorno, Italy, Civitavecchia (Rome) Italy, Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy 2-Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy Naples, Italy, Dubrovnik, Croatia, Venice, Italy, Venice, Italy, Messina, Sicily, Italy, Barcelona, Spain, Cannes, France, Livorno, Italy, Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy If you've been to any of these places please let me know what you think. The main problem is that the former goes to Athens, which is good, but the second goes to Barcelona. Also this is a cruise of 12 nights. Any help would be appreciated.

I see it as a difficult choice, too, but have lived in Barcelona, visited Athens, all of Italy. Dobrovnik makes it difficult to pass # 2, I have lived in Barcelona, but I never saw the Costa Brava and Costa del SO de France on a boat. Must be nice! Also you can go through Cinqueterre towns in Italy. Regarding the choice between Athens and Barcelona, Athens was a pleasant surprise for me as incredible classical relics and monuments. But very hot! Try watching the "adults" of some ancient statues in the Archeological Museum. You can do that in Naples at the Museo Nazionale Arceologico (ask trickets Gabinetto segreto), and perhaps in other cities. Barcelona is not a cradle of civilization as Athens, but is very unique and has interesting parks and architecture of Gaudi. Both cities can be noisy and full of smoke, so look for parks and pedestrian zones, where you go. If you're not a city, Athens, Naples, or in Barcelona, near the port, you can take small boat or train to nearby places, like a ship from Naples to Capri or Positano, or a local train journey (!!!!) Amazing Ercolano, like Pompeii. From Barcelona, can take a train to Sitges for a nice beach, or ask the locals to trains to the beaches to NE near the Costa Brava. From Athens, you can take small boats to nearby Greek islands with beaches. Other great questions to help you decide: 1. Is Venice a priority? 2. What are you most attracted to Venice or Turkey? 3. Istanbul is interesting to you? 4. Ask the operators of cruise tourism, if #! Cinqueterre passes along the coast in Italy, it is going to Livorno. If not, probably # 2 passes for it and it's beautiful! Messina, Milazzo call a nearby beach is good, or it may take a little side trip Aeolian Islands, or a train down to Taormina / Giardini Naxos (Pretty!) with gravel beach. Messina itself is not so special. I know nothing of Katakolon or Marmaris. I like to go to Cannes, but here is Q anotherr ask: 1. Do you feel more attracted to some of the East (the Ottoman Empire, Byzantines, mosques and bazaars of Turkey), or a western European style? Have fun! Buy the book: Lonely Planet: Mediterranean Europe and will explain everything you need to know. About the swimming, the water around Turkey and the Greek islands and islands of Croatia is impressively Greece and Turkey and beautiful blue / not be so cold (water) as Cannes and Barcelona.
