I have to make an international payment to pay off a holiday apartment in Croatia. What is the best way?

I bank with RBS and say they will charge me 20 € and the recipient will be charged upon receipt of payment. As it is only a deposit of £ 100 this seems a little steep. Any advice?

I guess this private reserve, not through an agency. The agencies usually have too many credit cards. I would be wary if a private person applied for a card credit though, cos normally ask you to give them the number on the phone, and it is not wise.
