Any visit to Croatia, photography and Slovenia?
My travel plans for next season is Slovenia and Croatia. I want to visit regions the Alps and the Adriatic islands. Since I am a keen photographer who does not want to join any travel packages. Two years ago I was at a photo tour in New Zealand and it was great! Does anyone know of a company that run this kind of excursions that are suitable for photographers? Thanks for the answers!
In part I agree with Peter, you can visit these two countries on their own. Both countries are safe, people are very friendly and many speak English. Also accommodation is easy to find. However, if you are in the picture would require a lot of research to find the right places, especially if you is on landscapes and nature. I was in Slovenia in July with my wife and this wonderful man she met on the Internet. His name is Luka Esenko, a professional photographer who runs tours and workshops in the area. He organized a private tour for us (my wife is an acute nature photographer), 8 days in Slovenia and Croatia Istria. Luka has a website called www.adriatic2alps.com – with some great pictures and several tours to the region. Recommended! All the best, Stan
