What is Croatia like?
My family is Croatian. I live in Australia and have never been but would like to someday. Please tell me everything you know! About the people, places, food, anything!
My family is from the island of Vis btw 
I’ve only been to the coastal parts of Croatia, but it is absolutely beautiful! I’ve even been to Vis, to Komiza, and loved it. You are right near an amazing Blue Grotto http://cache.virtualtourist.com/2242794-Blue_grotto-Otok_Bisevo.jpg
The people are very friendly, and gorgeous! The water is turquoise and crystal clear. The food is delicious – remember it was part of the Venetian republic for centuries so there is a lot of Italian influence – pastas, pizza, prsut (their version of prosciutto), delicious wines, amazing seafood, delicious grilled meats, etc.
You should definitely go. I can’t wait to go back
