Pleasure Croatian assistance please?
I like to go to Croatia in August with my partner and our 2 children aged 5 and 7, and I would stay near a sandy beach. Power of Nice beaches you recommend? and where are the best places / area to stay in any other information about Croatia appreciated thanks.
Croatia is indeed a paradise for families with young children, Dubrovnik, but it is not the place you're looking for. Certainly, has no beaches, let alone sand. There is a beach in Kupari near in Lapad and a pair of islands only through Dubrovnik, but not in the city itself. It is also a scam. If you want an iced coffee 7-8 euros, Dubrovnik is the place to go. Even people in Western Europe complain about the high prices. If this is your first time in Croatia, the head of an island, a large as Hvar or Brac or Korcula. Or take a look at these beaches: http://www.croatia-beaches.com/sandy/best_sand_beach_croatia.htm I have been most of resorts, and Zlatni Rat has always had a superior reputation for a good sandy beach: http://www.croatiatraveller.com/central 20dalmatia/Brac/Bol.htm% Check under "Beaches for families with children 'here: http://www.generalturist.com/Croatia/Beaches.aspx?tag=Beaches-in-Croatia&lang=en-GB
