travel to dubrovnik
I'm going to Croatia during the Passover, what are the best islands to visit?

We will travel from Slovenia to see some of the other cities before reaching to Zadar, Split and Dubrovnik. I prefer to get off the beaten track and see the real Croatia, does anyone have any advice on how best to visit? Moreover, that tourist islands worth a visit too? Thanks!

Well Do not miss the beach, "Bol" in Is.Brac, its triangular, and moves with the current. Simply beautiful. Hvar has the best climate in all of Croatia, Do not miss it. You can get a half day trip by boat with lunch, which Brach & Hvar, starting from Makarska on the mainland. Korcula is also beautiful, you can visit the birthplace of Marco Polo. Further north, Pag is interesting, and do some of the best and most expensive cheese in the country. Rab is also great, and one of the sunniest in the whole Adriatic, with a large natural forest cover. Krk is the largest island, with beautiful architecture and many churches, fishing villages and beaches. Brijuni is very interesting, its made up of 14 islands, and is protected as a park national. Have lots of fun, is a beautiful country, just remember to bargain over the prices of excursions. And if you have lunch in the "Stradun" Dubrovnik, go down the side street, you will get best service and prices. Be sure to buy some "Rakiya" one of the seats on the side of the road, that'll knock your socks!
